Agra Namo Bharat Vande Trains: Indian Railways is getting ready to launch two Namo Bharat Rapid Rail trains, also known as Vande Bharat Metro, in Agra very soon. This is part of the railway’s plan to bring more modern and fast trains across the country. Officials say both trains are expected to start running within the next two months.
One of these will run from Agra to Delhi, and the other will go from Agra to Gwalior. Right now, there is already an intercity train that runs between Agra and Delhi, but once the new metro starts, the intercity train will be slowly taken out of service.

The Namo Bharat Rapid Rail is designed to move quickly and smoothly. It can run at a top speed of 130 kmph, while the usual average speed will be around 90 kmph. These new trains will be much faster than many current options and will give people in Agra a faster and more comfortable travel choice to major cities like Delhi and Gwalior.
Each Vande Metro train will come with 12 to 16 coaches. Every coach can seat 100 people and allow 300 more to stand. Passengers can expect modern comforts like soft cushioned seats, automatic doors, and fully air-conditioned interiors.
Coaches will also have helpful features such as LCD displays to show train details, charging sockets for mobile phones, route maps, bio vacuum toilets, and fire detection systems to keep things safe. There will even be a shield system on the engine to help prevent accidents and make the ride safer.
