Andre Russell will not be featuring in the Windies team for the T20I series against India. A day before the game in Kolkata, Cricket Windies released a later saying that Russell was injured.
Russell has been a top T20 pick all around the world. He scored the fastest Caribbean Premier League century. In the Afghanistan Premier League, he was selected as the Icon Player for Nangarhar’s squad.
Meanwhile, the Windies squad practised hard in the nets a day before the game.
