Best picks for fantasy league

Batsman

Rohit Sharma: The ever so flamboyant, Hitman has once again been trusted with the responsibility of captainship. He has been amongst the runs throughout the year. In the recent ODI series against the Windies, he scored two 150 plus scores. If he plays out the powerplay, we can expect yet another biggie from the opener.

Shimron Hetmyer: If Windies had few positives to take from the ODI series, Hetmyer trumped them all. He scored six with more ease than everybody. A format like T20 suits Hetmyer’s gameplay perfectly.

Manish Pandey: Manish would be hoping to make the maximum out this chance to play. He has the capability to solely turn around matches on their head.

Wicket Keeper

Rishabh Pant: In the Test and the ODI series against WI, he only bats in one gear, attacking. He is expected to keep ahead of Dinesh Karthik.

All Rounders

Kieron Pollard:  This Windies bloke has an extensive experience of playing in the subcontinent. It would be a challenge for any bowling side in the world to tame him once he starts going.

Krunal Patel: Krunal would be featuring in only his 5th T20 innings. Hopefully, he would be able to make the most out of this opportunity.

Carlos Brathwaite: The batsman who hit 4 sixes in 4 bowls to win the T20 World Cup is all set to make it big once again. With the skills with both the bat and the bowl, he could be a match winning addition to your squad.

Bowlers

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar: The Meerut has been on the scene for years now. Bhuvi can be expected to take a few wickets and dent the opening order of Windies.

Kuldeep Yadav: He is a direct pick for the side. Kuldeep has shown tremendous capabilities across formats and would be spearheading the spin department once again.

Obed McCoy: McCoy made his debut in the ODI series and has made a name of himself in just two games. He bowls surprise slower ones and has been quite successful at that. In the absence of quality bowling attack, a lot will depend on his performance.

Yazuvendra Chahal: A chess player turned cricketer, Chahal has been bowling successfully in tandem with Kuldeep. He can spin a web around the Windies’ batting line-up.
