Assam TET Result 2025 Date: The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam successfully held the Assam TET Recruitment Test 2025 for hiring Graduate Teachers (GT) and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT). This recruitment aims to fill 9,717 vacancies in government and provincialised secondary schools across Assam. The exam was conducted on 19th January 2025 in two phases across nine districts.

The final results of the Assam GT/PGT recruitment are scheduled to be declared on 17th October 2025 at 10:30 AM. Those who qualify will get their appointments around 25th or 26th October 2025. The DSE plans to finish the recruitment process by October 2025. Earlier, the results for PGT and GT vacancies were announced on 30th May 2025 and 23rd June 2025 respectively.

Step 2: Click on Assam TET Result link .
Step 3: The official web portal will be opened.
Step 4: Enter Application no and Password and click on Login button.
Step 5: Your TET Result along with marksheet will be displayed.
Step 6: Take a print and save it for future reference.

GT/PGT TET Merit List Details:

The number of candidates qualifying the TET Recruitment Test will be kept in a 1:1 ratio to the advertised vacancies. Separate merit lists will be prepared for each subject and stream. The marks obtained by candidates in the TET Recruitment Test for a particular subject or stream will be removed from the main list and aggregated into a separate merit list for that stream. This process will be repeated for all other streams.

Selection Process

The DSE will prepare merit lists in a 1:1 ratio with the advertised vacancies. This means that the number of candidates qualifying the TET Recruitment Test will match the number of open posts. Separate merit lists will be made for each subject and stream.

The marks scored by candidates in a particular subject or stream will be removed from the main list and included in that stream’s separate merit list. This will happen for all streams until the lists are complete.

If any posts remain empty after the first merit list is released, the DSE may issue two additional merit lists to fill the remaining vacancies.
