Ahead of assembly polls in Rajasthan, issues pertaining to ticket distribution are increasing day by day in CongressAs per the sources, Congress is facing the problem of too many candidates asking for party tickets in the upcoming assembly election in Rajasthan, Congress leaders told media. However, earlier Congress chief Rahul Gandhi stated that no outsider will get a ticket for the assembly election.

“I can guarantee you this time that not a single parachute candidate will be able to get the ticket. If any such candidate comes, I will cut the rope,” Gandhi told party workers in Jaipur on August 11.

Kumari Selja, chairperson of the screening committee for Rajasthan has cleared that, only ‘winnable’ candidates will get the tickets.

She said the final decision will be taken by the Congress president, but the feedback collected from the state will be considered. Ashok Gehlot, in his ‘Sankalp Rally’ speeches, urged the Congress workers and leaders to support the candidates who are picked.
