Ather Konarc Electric Scooter: Ather Energy is set to launch its new electric scooter, the Ather Konarc in India on August 29, 2026. This one will likely be the first production scooter riding on Ather’s new EL platform, a system the company first previewed at Ather Community Day in 2025 like a sneak peak before the real thing.

Now, the Konarc is expected to matter a lot for Ather’s next push moving past its current 450 and Rizta lineups. Even if a bunch of specifics are still under wraps, Ather has already confirmed two big thing, the scooter’s name and the launch date.

Ather Konarc Electric Scooter Launch Date

The Ather Konarc is slated to arrive on August 29, 2026, tied to Ather’s upcoming Community Day event. Ather has now officially confirmed the Konarc name, after it was earlier shown as the EL01 concept, which is where it all started.

What Is the Ather EL Platform?

The Konarc is based on Ather’s EL platform, which was unveiled at Ather Community Day 2025. According to Ather, the platform was developed using 26 lakh kilometres of field data and features a new chassis, powertrain and redesigned electronics architecture. The company says the simplified architecture reduces component count and enables 15% faster assembly, while service intervals can extend up to 10,000 km.
