Bihar cop killed: On Friday, a police officer stationed at the world-famous Maha Bodhi Temple in Gaya, Bihar, was fatally shot through the head with his carbine, according to police.

Amarjit Yadav, a hawaldar of the Special Armed Police, was discovered lying in a pool of blood, according to Ashish Bharti, the Senior Superintendent of Police for Gaya. The locals raced to the scene when they heard gunfire.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:40 p.m. Yadav, a resident of the district of Saran, was on a footpath leading to the shrine to report for duty, he informed reporters.

“It appears to be an accident, but we’ve heard that he was under stress due to familial issues. It is being investigated from every angle. “A team from Patna will assist the local forensic experts,” the SSP said.
