Fire broke out at Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) emergency ward on Tuesday. According to initial reports, the fire broke out in the afternoon.
Firefighters was dispatched shortly after the incident and the fire was brought under control.
According to reports, the fire was caused due to a short circuit and personnel outside the hospital heard a loud blast, followed by smoke coming out of the emergency ward. The matter is under investigation and no reports of casualty have yet been received.
