The Patna police on an anonymous tip conducted a raid on Exhibition Road and busted an online sex racket.
The raid took place at an area that falls under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Ground Police station resulted in arrested three people. Amongst the three arrested, Sanwarmal Berwa belongs to Rajasthan while Dileep and Sudhir are from Patna. While the mastermind of the sex racket, Amit is absconding. The police have confiscated an Alto car from the accused.
According to the accused, Amit and his wife would first arrange for the girls from Bengal. Customers used to call on the phone numbers listed on the website and then the girls were sent to the luxurious hotels in Patna. Next, everyone would get paid accordingly.
The girls were given a pay package to come to Bihar. Police are now searching for the mastermind Amit and his wife.
