In the recent development to the notice on ban on ‘wearing lungi’ within court premises, the Kishanganj civil court has reportedly withdrawn the orders stating, “the order be treated as redundant.”
In a notice issued on November 15 to the Bar Association and District Bar Association, the Kishanganj session court stated that though the letter no. 12/18 and 18/13 dated November 5 were advisory in nature, but if not interested, then let that order be treated as redundant.
earlier, the court had issued a notice to the bar association prohibiting everyone from wearing ‘lungi’ within the court premises. he court also asked the advocates to convey the message and ask their clients not to wear ‘lungi’ in the court.
