In a shocking incident, a woman prisoner, who was admitted to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital (SKMCH) in Muzaffarpur for her treatment, was allegedly raped by two men on the hospital premises. The incident took place on November 14 when the men dragged the victim to the washroom of the hospital and raped her.

As per the reports, the victim iterated her ordeal to her inmates and Jail Superintendent after she went back to jail.

A case has been registered is the matter. Manoj Kumar Singh, SHO at Ahiapur police station, said “On the statement of the prisoner that was sent by Sitamarhi jail superintendent, a case was lodged against Shailesh Kumar and Chhotelal Kumar and a probe is on. We will soon nab the culprits.”
