California Tax Refund Stimulus Payment: The Middle Class Tax Refund (MCTR) is a one-time gift that Californians get to help them deal with rising prices.
The California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) says that this payment has helped almost 32,000,000 California workers and their families.
If you meet these conditions, you might be able to get the money:
Most MCTR payments have been made, according to FTB. However, some payments need more work and may be made after the payment date shown.
If you think you should have gotten a payment and haven’t checked your bank account since February 14, 2023, to make sure you didn’t, you should.
Most of the people who were eligible got paid between October 2022 and February 2023. If you made a donation, you should check your bank account to see if “FTB MCT REFUND MCT REFUND” sent you money.
