Coronavirus Outbreak: Bihar reports 3 new Covid-19 cases including 12-year-old, total figure up to 7

Patna: Three Coronavirus positive cases which include a 12-year-old boy too were reported from Bihar on Thursday which took the total number of cases to seven.

The state health department has confirmed that the minor and a 35-year-old woman from Munger district have also been tested positive and while the third case is a 21-year-old man who is a resident fo Patna was confirmed by Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna, Director Dr. Pardeep Das.

The three persons who have been tested positive for COVID19 have come in contact with a 38-year-old man who died on Saturday and was found out to be positive on Sunday.

Apart from the deceased Munger resident, two more people had tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday, but sources said the samples of their close contacts have been found to be negative.

So far, 1,456 passengers had been enrolled for observation, out of which 210 have completed their 14 days observation period.
