The Delhi Police Crime Branch on Wednesday arrested three people in connection with an education board scam. The alleged mastermind Altaf Raja was also arrested in connection with the crime.
An investigation has been launched into the matter.
In a similar incident, police uncovered education racket at University of Madras’ Institute of Distance Education where more than 2,000 students reportedly completed distance education programmes without paying tuition fees resulting in a financial loss to the university up to Rs 3 crore.
