On Saturday, October 28, the eclipse will start and last until October 29, 2018. News sources say that the eclipse will start in India around 11:31 pm.

The Ministry of Science says that there will be a partial moon eclipse on October 28th and 29th, 2023 (6-7 Kartika, 1945 Saka Era). At midnight on October 28, the moon will move into the penumbra. However, the umbral phase will not begin until early October 29. The eclipse will last for one hour and 19 minutes. It will start at 01:05 IST on October 29 and end at 02:24 IST. This is the umbral part of the eclipse.
