Indian held in Islamabad for carrying insufficient travel documents

An Indian national was allegedly held in Islamabad on Sunday, as he did not carry complete travel documents while travelling in the country, ANI said, quoting Pakistani media. A case has been registered under Article 14 of the Foreign Act and the man has been transferred to jail for judicial remand, according to Pak media sources. He was arrested from F-8 area of Islamabad.

The incident happened when there are increased tension between both the nations over the death sentence given to former Indian naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav. A Pakistan military court had given orders for his execution over charges of spying and espionage.
