JDU faces setback as Ali Ashraf Fatmi resigns from party

Nitish Kumar’s party Janata Dal (United) has suffered a setback in Bihar. Various leaders are changing sides ahead of upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The national general secretary of the JD(U), Mohd. Ali Ashraf Fatmi, resigned from the party.

“I am resigning from the primary membership of Janata Dal (United) including all posts to protect moral values,” Fatemi said in a letter to JD(U) national president.
