New Delhi: The Joint Entrance Exam or JEE Main 2020 paper 1 started at 9:30 AM and will conclude at 12:30 PM. The exam is for 3 hours duration. JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 consists of three sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre on time before the commencement of the test. Candidates were required to show their JEE Main 2020 admit card and other documents such as a valid photo Id proof, a passport size photograph, and PwD certificate if claiming reservation under PwD category.
The exam is being conducted in two shifts therefore the next shift will begin at 2:30 PM. This year, over 11,18,673 candidates have registered for JEE Main out of which 9,21,261 candidates have registered for BE/B.Tech exam.
For safe and security, live CCTV surveillance has been started in all the examination centres. A total of 9500 cameras have been kept on work. In remote areas, NTA is making arrangements of live viewing. Moreover, to avoid any malpractice, the authorities have also installed jammers in all the examination centres.
