Jharkhand CM Rewards Exam Toppers: On Tuesday, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren met the toppers of matric and intermediate exams of Jharkhand Academic Council for the year 2025. Students who did well in other boards were also invited and honored. The event turned into a big celebration for young achievers and their families.

Scooty, laptop and cash prize for toppers

The state government gave away special awards to the toppers. Each topper got a Suzuki 125 CC scooty, a laptop, a mobile phone and a cheque of ₹3 lakh. The aim of this step is to encourage bright students and give them modern tools and money support for their studies. Hemant Soren said the government will always stand behind hard working students.

Teachers and staff get appointment letters

In the same function, newly selected teachers and staff also got their appointment letters. Post Graduate Teachers, assistant professors for science and maths, and lab assistants received their joining orders.

The government said this is part of the plan to improve education quality in Jharkhand by adding more teaching strength in schools and colleges. Finance Minister Radhakrishna Kishore, Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Majhi and Labor Minister Sanjay Prasad Yadav were also present, showing support for this education push.

Netarhat School opens doors for girls

One of the biggest announcements of the day was about the famous Netarhat Residential School. Till now, only boys were allowed there. But Hemant Soren declared that now girls will also get admission. People welcomed this move as a big step towards equal education for all.

Scholarships for studying abroad

The Chief Minister also reminded that Jharkhand is the first state in the country to give scholarships for students to study abroad. The government spends crores every year on this scheme. He said with pride, “If students take one step towards success, the government will help them take ten steps forward.”
