KCET 2025 Counselling: The Karnataka Common Entrance Test, mostly called KCET, happens every year in the state. KEA runs this exam so students can get admission into professional courses. This includes engineering, pharmacy, veterinary and some other courses too.
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will put out the KCET 2025 round 2 mock seat allotment results on August 29. Students who joined the counselling can go to the official site at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/

After KEA gives this mock list, students will get some time to make changes. They can move around their college choices, add more or even delete what they don’t want. Once that window closes, KEA will then release the final round 2 seat allotment list.
Mock allotment
The mock seat allotment helps students get a picture of which college they may end up in. KEA decides the seat based on the student’s rank, the choices they put in, and also the seats available. Even though this mock list is not final, it gives them a chance to check and fix things if they are not happy.
For example, if someone feels their order of colleges is wrong, they can change it right now. But if they feel fine with the mock, then they can leave it as it is. If they don’t make any change, the same will go into the final seat allotment.

Candidates can follow the given steps to check the KCET Round 2 Allotment Result:
- Step 1: Go to the official KCET website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
- Step 2: On the homepage, find and click the “KCET 2025 Seat Allotment” or “Round 2 Provisional Allotment” link.
- Step 3: Enter your Karnataka CET number and your date of birth in the boxes.
- Step 4: Press the Submit or Login button.
- Step 5: Your KCET 2025 seat allotment will show on the screen. Read it carefully to see which college and course you got.
- Step 6: Click Download or Print to save a copy. Keep the printed or saved copy safe.
