Bhartiya Janata Party‘s MLA from Nagda-Khachrod, Dilip Shekhawat, was greeted with a garland made of shoes. The incident occurred while Mr Shekhawat was campaigning for the upcoming assembly elections.
The state of Madhya Pradesh is set to undergo elections on 28 November 2018 in 230 constituencies. The current Chief Minister of the state, Shivraj Singh Chauhan will be eying for his 4th consecutive term in the office.
