Mithila University Student Union Election: AISF led Grand alliance vs ABVP

The Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) is going to hold the Student Union Election on 12th December 2018. This time AISF led grand alliance having NSUI, SFI and AISA will fight against the ABVP. There are five colleges as constituents of the university where the elections are going to be held.

They are:

In G.D. College (with approx. strength of 17,000) election will be fought on 22 posts (17 councilor & 5 office bearer).

In Shri Krishna Singh Mahila College (with approx. strength of 7,000) on 12 posts elections will be fought (7 councilor & 5 office bearer)

In SBSS Co-operative College (with approx. strength of 11,000) it will be fought on 17 posts (11 councilor & 5 office bearer)

In APSM College (with approx. strength of 6,000) election will take place on 11 posts (6 councilor & 5 office bearer) and

In RCS College (with approx. (with approx. strength of 6,000) and here also the fight will be on 11 posts (6 councilor & 5 office bearer).

While talking to Newsd, AISF Begusarai Vice-President, Rakesh Kumar said that we have decided to take on the ABVP jointly. Adding further he said, “In three colleges AISF will field candidates for post of president and NSUI will put up their candidates in the remaining two.”
