Pati Patni Aur Woh trailer: Kartik Aaryan back with sexist humor under Chintu’s decent mustache look

One of the most anticipated movies, especially for Kartik Aaryan fans. The trailer is finally out. Pati Patni Aur Woh stars Kartik Aaryan, Ananya Pandey and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles.

Kartik plays the role of Chintu Tyagi, a government servant from Kanpur who is married to Bhumi Pednekar’s character but has eyes for another woman, played by Ananya Panday.

While Bhumi plays an ‘emotionally high-maintenance’ wife who is also a teacher, Ananya adds glamour as Kartik’s love interest.

However, the situational comedy trailer is not all fun and clean humor. Other than the double meaning dialogues and sexist jokes, what caught us is Kartik Aaryan’s ever famous monologue that might get many applauses but at the same time hits deep under the skin.

The sexist humor here is gender-neutral as in the first frame of the trailer when Bhumi is asked about her hobbies, she goes on saying “Sex” (pun intended) to which Chintu Ji gives a shocking reaction.

Check out the trailer:

Pati Patni Aur Woh has been directed by Mudassar Aziz, who has previously helmed films like Dulha Mil Gaya, Happy Bhag Jayegi and Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi.

The film is an adaptation of the 1978 drama of the same name, which featured Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur in the lead roles. The original one revolved around a married couple Ranjeet (Sanjeev) and Sharda (Vidya) and how things change after he gets involved with his secretary Nirmala (Ranjeeta).

Was Taapsee Pannu ousted by Kaartik Aaryan from Pati, Patni Aur Woh remake?
