According to police, a man killed a person in Punjab after suspecting him of having extramarital relations with his wife.
The victim and the accused are residents of Hussainpur Bule village in Sultanpur Lodhi.
The incident took place on Tuesday. According to Senior Superintendent of Police Vatsala Gupta, the accused called the victim to a field and killed her there with a sharp object. The accused suspected that the victim had illicit relations with wife, police said and added that a case of murder has been registered.
