Sony Gaming Hardware: Sony is not only working on new games. It is also building more gear around the PlayStation 5 so players can set up in different ways. The company has now shown three new products. They are a wireless fight stick called FlexStrike, a 27-inch gaming monitor for desk play, and new wireless speakers for a fuller sound setup. Sony says these items are made for players who do not only sit in front of a TV. Some play at a desk. Some play fighting games. Some want louder and richer sound around them.

FlexStrike: For Fight Game Players

The FlexStrike wireless fight stick is for people who like arcade-style controls instead of a normal controller. Sony says it works with both PS5 and PC. It has a built-in rechargeable battery, so it can be used without wires during play. Sony is also giving it a sling carry case, which should help people who take it to tournaments or meetups. The company says the fight stick will launch on August 6, 2026. Pre-orders start on June 12, 2026.

A Monitor and Speakers For Desk Gaming

Sony’s new 27-inch gaming monitor is for players who use a desk setup. It has a QHD IPS screen with 2560 x 1440 resolution. It also supports VRR and can go up to 120Hz on PS5 and PS5 Pro. On a strong PC or Mac, it can reach 240Hz. One small but useful extra is the DualSense charging hook built into the monitor, so the controller can stay charged and close by. Sony says pre-orders for the monitor begin on June 5, 2026, and launch in the U.S. and Japan starts on August 27, 2026.
