Elephant Gives Birth on Tracks: Something truly touching happened in Jharkhand recently, and it’s a moment people won’t forget easily. In a forest stretch between Barkakana and Hazaribagh railway station, a pregnant elephant went into labour right on the railway tracks. Instead of ignoring the situation, officials from the railway and forest department made a beautiful decision.

They stopped a coal-loaded goods train for over two hours to make sure the elephant could give birth without panic or fear. Since the track is used only for cargo trains, no passengers were delayed.

The entire moment was captured on video and shared online. People from across the country watched as the two elephants slowly moved away, safe and unharmed. This wasn’t just an act of kindness it was a reminder that compassion still lives in our systems.

Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav posted the video on Twitter, sharing the happy moment with everyone. One person commented, “Ahh… nothing makes me happier than when I get to witness humans respecting our animal cousins. This video brought me complete gratitude and hope for our species and our shared life on Mother Earth.” But not everyone felt positive. A few users raised concerns about tracks being built through forest zones, saying it still puts animals at risk. One said, “Tracks should be away from jungle premises… Indian Railways pathetic in each and every concern.”
