As a result of the ordeal, a girl who was allegedly subjected to repeated rapes by a man since she was ten years old has developed nymphomania, the Bombay high court ruled, rejecting his parole application and labeling the crime “obnoxious” and “shocking to the conscience.”
A single-judge tribunal of Justice Prithviraj Chavan rendered a verdict on Monday, stating, “Words are inadequate to describe the damage inflicted upon her mentally, physically, and psychologically, as well as the profound psychological and spiritual distress she endured at the hands of the accused.”
The girl “became a nymphomaniac” as a result of the “horrendous nature” of the conduct, the bench stated in its order.
The definition of the term by Merriam-Webster is “a woman who has an unhealthy desire for sexual activity.”
Justice Chavan stated, “Adorning the accused with bail would be tantamount to exacerbating and festering the victim’s wounds, which are still fresh in her mind, body, and soul.”

The victim’s parents claimed that the accused and his spouse took advantage of the girl’s father’s Dubai job.
The parents said they discovered their 17-year-old daughter’s diary in her room in 2021 and learned about the crime. She said the man’s spouse knew and that he had sexually molested her since fourth grade.
Her husband petitioned the high court after a special court granted release to the woman but denied her plea.
The Bombay High Court said the accused’s spouse “intentionally supported and encouraged the unlawful activities and seems to bear equal responsibility.”
According to the diary, the victim informed her mother, but she did nothing due to “social stigma.”
