In a shocking course of the event, Sohan Chauhan who has worked on reality TV shows like India’s Got Talent season 7, Masterchef India season 6 as a senior post producer was found dead on June 16.
As per reports, his body was found floating in a pond in the Royal Palms society in Aarey colony, Mumbai. The Mumbai police have registered an accidental death report in the case and investigation into the matter has been started. They are yet to ascertain the cause of death.
As per a report, the Mumbai police have sent the body for post mortem to Siddharth Hospital. Sohan lived at Ruby Building with his wife and got marries six months ago.
The reports also suggest that Chauhan was alone at the time of the incident as his wife was in Delhi. Their domestic help was reportedly the last person to have seen him last on Saturday evening.
Reportedly the producer’s brother was trying to reach Sohan on Saturday, June 15 but was unsuccessful and filed a missing person report with the nearby police. Following the day, the police informed of the dead body found in Aarey colony by the locals and the police identified it as Sohan Chauhan.
As per a media report, in so far investigation the body shows no fresh marks of injuries. The CCTV footage of the building proves that Sohan stepped out with a bottle in his hand on Sunday (June 16)
As of now, there is nothing suspicious about the death. As there is no evidence yet the police are suspecting it to be suicide. The post mortem report is awaited.
