When Will the Money Arrive?
The Social Security Administration has started sending out payments. If you use Direct Deposit, you should get your money today. If you’re waiting for a paper check, it may take a few more days to arrive by mail. If you recently applied for SSI and are still waiting for approval, your first payment could take one to two months after approval.
