20-Year-Old Dancer’s Death: A 20 year old dancer was discovered hanging inside the place she rented in Muzaffarpur district, Bihar and this is what kicked off a police probe into what exactly were the circumstances around her death. The deceased, identified as Sarika Pal also known as Muskan was originally from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh and had reportedly been living in Muzaffarpur for several years.
Police said the woman was living in a rented room in the Shukla Road area of Chaturbhuj Sthan under the jurisdiction of the Nagar police station. Authorities are investigating all possible angles, and the exact cause of death will be determined after the post-mortem examination and forensic analysis.

According to police, local residents became suspicious after there was no activity from the room until around midday. As per the locals, there had been no movement from Muskan’s room till 12:30 pm on Tuesday. When the room was checked, the woman was found hanging. The incident was immediately reported to the police, following which officers from the Nagar police station and a forensic team reached the spot to begin an investigation.

Live-in Relationship Under Investigation
Initial reports indicate that the woman was in a live-in relationship. Investigators are examining her personal relationships, phone records and other evidence as part of the inquiry. However, police have not confirmed any link between the relationship and the cause of death, and no conclusions have been drawn at this stage.
Town SDPO-1 Suresh Kumar said the police have collected evidence from the scene and are investigating every possible angle. He stated that further action will depend on the findings of the post-mortem report and forensic examination.
Police are questioning people familiar with the deceased and reviewing available evidence to establish the sequence of events leading to her death. At present, authorities have not announced any arrests or indicated whether foul play is suspected.
