3 new coronavirus cases in Jharkhand, two from Ranchi and one from Simdega

The total number of infected in Jharkhand has gone up to 27. On Monday, 5 new positive cases were confirmed, out of which three cases were from Ranchi.

3 new coronavirus cases in Jharkhand, two from Ranchi and one from Simdega

Three new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Jharkhand on Tuesday. Two are from Ranchi’s Hindpidhi area and one from Simdega ditrict.

The total number of infected in Jharkhand has gone up to 27. On Monday, 5 new positive cases were confirmed, out of which three cases were from Ranchi.

This was confirmed by Dr. DK Singh, Director, RIMS. There are two cases from Kohinoor Chowk in Hindpidhi area, while the infected person found in Simdega had returned from Delhi. The contact mapping is being done for all the three infected persons.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner of Bokaro, Mukesh Kumar had said that two men, 68 years and 45 years respectively, were found infected with the coronavirus on Sunday night. He said that the patient is a resident of Bokaro district and is a relative of the 72-year-old man who died on April 8 from Covid-19
