528 Stimulus Payment Eligibility: Ann Arbor, Michigan, residents qualified for a special guaranteed income program will get their third monthly payment of $528.
Known as Guaranteed Income to Grow Ann Arbor, this initiative seeks to assist low-income small company owners and entrepreneurs. The Poverty Solutions team of the University of Michigan is driving it.
When will you be getting paid?
Early this year, the program started paying 100 carefully chosen volunteers. Kristin Seefeldt, associate director of Poverty Solutions, confirmed to the Washington Examiner that these payments will be made on the 15th of each month, with adjustments for weekends and holidays.

The project will support low-income residents in Ann Arbor until 2025. It aims to see how guaranteed income can improve economic stability and growth.
“This guaranteed income pilot celebrates residents who do much to strengthen our community but still struggle to make ends meet,” said Seefeldt.
“The success of the research project depends on both sponsored and unfunded participants. Ann Arbor’s approach to guaranteed income will help other towns learn from it.”
Unlike food stamps, which can only be used to buy food, recipients can use the guaranteed income however they choose.
“You might save the money, buy birthday presents, or pay off debts. It is meant to show people dignity and respect their decision-making.”

528 Stimulus Payment Eligibility
Program eligibility called for applicants to be Ann Arbor residents at least eighteen years old, engaged in gig work or small company activity.
Their income had to be either at or below 225% of the federal poverty level. Those qualified for government aid—such as Pell Grants or SNAP—also fit the requirements for application.
Last year the application procedure finished, and the chosen candidates are already profiting from the consistent monthly payments.
