On Thursday, coaches of Jabalpur- Nizamuddin Mahakaushal Express derailed near Mahoba station in Uttar Pradesh around 2:07 AM. According to the Chief Public Relations Officer of North Central Railway, the train was bound to Delhi and the accident has injured around 9 people till now. The coaches have derailed between Mahoba and Kulpahar stations.
As per reports, a relief train has been rushed immediately to the site and first-aid has been provided to the injured. Senior officers have also rushed to the site although the cause of the accident is still unknown.
Railway officials have opened helplines at Jhansi, Gwalior, Banda and Nizamuddin stations to circulate information to relatives of the passengers.
