On his 34th birthday, Ranveer Singh revealed the first look his upcoming sports drama ’83. The 34-year-old actor took to social media to share his transformed look as Kapil Dev.
In the photo, Ranveer looks mirror image of Kapil Dev with an uncanny resemblance to the former al rounder cricketer.

On the latest episode of a show, Kapil Dev told how Ranveer and Kabir Khan are watching out on every single detail about his personality. He said in a statement “He is a fabulous actor. He and Kabir Khan are taking care of every small thing. They are taking care of how I speak, my pronunciation. Ranveer thought that since I am a fast bowler, I must be aggressive and he wanted to learn how I express my anger. I told him, I might have gotten angry on the field, but off the field, I never lost my head.”
Ranveer has been prepping for his role as Kapil dev since a long time now. He had earlier shared videos and photos from the practice sessions and also lived with the cricketer and trained with him for ten days at his residence in Delhi.
The film is slated to release on April 10, 2020.
