Bigg Boss OTT 2: Bigg Boss OTT 2 is gathering popularity due to its drama and entertainment. The contestants are raising their game with their participation in the reality programme anchored by Salman Khan. BB is a game in which a group of prominent contestants reside together for a period of time in a specially designed home. The contestants are cut off from the outside world and are continuously monitored by surveillance cameras. They compete in various duties and challenges to earn rewards and eviction immunity. In the previous episode of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, Falaq Naaz was victorious in the captaincy assignment.

Bigg Boss installed a ‘BB Vendi’ machine in the house’s garden. He instructed them to use it to purchase rations. Residents had to purchase rations with BB currency.
In the meantime, Palak Purswani was spared from elimination after completing the Bigg Boss task.
The first captaincy the task of the season occurred on June 20. Abhishek Malhan and Cyrus Broacha were granted ‘captain creators’ authority by Bigg Boss. While Abhishek nominated Akanksha Puri for captain, Cyrus chose Falaq. Falaq Naaz became the first commander of the house after much debate.
During this time, Jiya Shankar and Palak Purswani engaged in a lively conversation. Jiya stated that she felt neglected and distant from Palak. In the meantime, Palak described the emotional turmoil she had experienced outside the home. The pair ultimately determined that it would be best for them to terminate their association.
The nomination duty followed afterward. The contestants were required to collect their own BB currency and use it for nominations. To nominate someone, each contestant was required to deposit 1, 2, or 3 coins in the BB piggy bank.
The nominees were required to explain why they selected the other candidates. Once nominations were complete, Jiya Shankar, Palak Purswani, and Avinash Sachdev were nominated for eviction.
The passionate conversation between Jad Hadid and Akaknsha Puri was one of the episode’s highlights. When Akanksha asked Jad if he liked Mumbai, he replied, “I would love it because of you.” The statement caused Akanksha to flush.
Manisha Rani was overheard discussing her difficult days and how she fled from her home to Kolkata. She only left behind a missive. Manisha disclosed that she had previously worked as a hostess and background performer.
She stated, “When I fled my home, I travelled to Kolkata.” My father would not permit me to take dance lessons. Consequently, I penned a letter to my father and fled with an acquaintance. I wrote to my father, “Please forgive me (Maaf kijiyega humko)” I boarded a train unauthorised. I remained in a home in such poor condition and infested with insects.”
She continued, “I did not wish to return home. I desired to endure in Kolkata at all costs. During that period, I worked as a wedding background performer and server. I would wear a white shirt and black trousers for eight hours of standing. However, we were not permitted to consume the food that was placed in front of us. I will never forget Kolkata because it was the starting point of my journey.”
On June 17, Salman Khan made a sensational debut on Bigg Boss OTT 2. The icon danced to Hangover, a song from his film Kick. In addition, he introduced BB Currency, which will aid contestants in surviving the competition. BB OTT 2 will be broadcast on JioCinema for six weeks. This season features thirteen contestants confined inside a home. They will be subject to 24-hour surveillance by CCTV cameras.
