2. Click on the ‘Rank details’ link available on the homepage.
3. Select the relevant category-wise rank list.
4. Open the PDF corresponding to the applicable category.
5. Search for the registration details to view the allotted rank.

How Is the TNEA Rank Calculated?
Unlike many engineering admissions, TNEA does not conduct an entrance examination. Admission is based entirely on Class 12 marks. The TNEA 2026 merit list will be prepared using a scaled score out of 200 marks.
The merit score is prepared using:
- 50% weightage to Mathematics marks
- 50% weightage to the average of Physics and Chemistry marks
In case two or more candidates obtain the same merit score, the random number allotted during registration is used as one of the tie-breaking criteria.
