Influencer Shradha Singh Apologises After 'Neela Wala Toilet Ke Liye' RAF Video Goes Viral

RAF Video Goes Viral: Social media influencer Shradha Singh has put out a public apology, after getting hit with a ton of criticism over a viral video shot right in front of Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel during the recent protests in Delhi. Pointing towards the personnel, she said, “Neela wala toilet ke liye (blue one is for toilet).” Referring to herself, who was dressed in red, she added, “Laal bathroom ke liye (red one is for bathroom).” It got seen by many users as if she was mocking the uniformed personnel, and then the backlas went intense online.

RAF Video Goes Viral

The whole thing kicked off after Singh shared a short clip recorded near the protest area in Delhi. In it, she walks past a line of RAF personnel and then uses that caption, “Neela wala toilet ke liye kahan jaana hoga?”

Before long, the video spread on Instagram and X, and that’s when people started reacting sharply, some said it disrespected the security personnel who were on duty, basically deployed for protection.

Shradha Singh’s Apology

When the criticism kept growing Singh then shared an apology where she said she never meant to insult the RAF, or hurt anyone’s feelings. She also acknowledged that the reaction happened, and she expressed regret that the video was taken as disrespect, like she didn’t expect it to be interpreted that way. “Maine itni bhi badi galti nahi ki hai ki aap log mujhe gaali dein (I have not made such a huge mistake that you guys will abuse me),” she said in the apology video.

“I noticed that they were wearing a blue dress while I was wearing red, and the thought of an advertisement crossed my mind, so I made the reel. I didn’t make it to mock them or with any malicious intent,” she said.

Earlier, while responding to criticism, she had also maintained that she did not believe she had committed a “very big mistake,” a statement that itself drew further debate online.

Social Media Reacts

The video sparked sharp reactions across social media platforms. Many users criticised the influencer, arguing that members of the Rapid Action Force perform demanding public-order duties and deserve respect while carrying out their responsibilities.

Others defended her by saying the clip was intended as satire and not a direct insult.
