NDA 2 Result 2026: The Union Public Service Commission will hold the NDA and Naval Academy Examination (II), 2026 on September 13, 2026. NDA 2 Merit List 2026
The NDA 2 written result and the final merit list are not the same.
The first result is used to shortlist candidates for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview. The final merit list is prepared after considering performance in the written examination and SSB, subject to eligibility, medical fitness and the number of vacancies.
For NDA 2 2026, the notified vacancies total 394, comprising 370 male and 24 female vacancies. The vacancies include Army, Navy, Air Force and Naval Academy entries.
UPSC and the Ministry of Defence also make it clear that NDA/NA male and female entries are handled separately for the notified vacancies and merit lists.
NDA 2 Cutoff 2026: Expected Marks
The official NDA 2 2026 cutoff will be released later. It cannot be confirmed immediately after the examination.
For reference, the NDA 2 written cutoff has fluctuated considerably in recent years. The reported cutoff was 292 marks in 2023 and 305 marks in 2024, while the 2025 figure was around 305 marks, with the required minimum of 25% marks in each subject.
An exact NDA 2 2026 cutoff should not be seen as final until UPSC posts it.
What Comes Next After Result 2026?
If a candidate clears the written test, they are then called for the SSB interview.
First, Stage I starts. It has two parts. One is the Officer Intelligence Rating test. The other is the Picture Perception and Description Test.
If you pass Stage I, you move to Stage II. Stage II has several items. There is the interview. There are also Group Testing Officer tasks. You will also face psychology tests. A conference is included too.
Stage II is held across four days. Overall, the SSB checks your personality and how fit you are for military leadership. It is not only about academic marks.
