Gold Silver Rate Today: Gold prices stayed weak on Tuesday. Traders watched several moving pieces at once, including higher crude oil prices, a stronger US dollar, and what the Federal Reserve may decide next.
In the US, consumer prices climbed to 3.4% on a year basis in August. That print kept worries alive that the Fed may hold rates higher for longer. When rates rise, gold often faces headwinds since it does not pay yield.
Meanwhile, Brent crude went above $108 per barrel. This came as tensions in the Middle East looked to intensify. Oil gains can feed inflation concerns, which makes it harder for investors to judge the Fed’s next steps.

Gold Price Outlook
The Federal Reserve’s September 16 call is the next major event that could move gold and silver in the near term.
Traders are bracing for sharp swings when the decision comes out. A recent view pointed to a wide MCX gold band of ₹1.47 lakh to ₹1.56 lakh, based on what the Fed says and what it adds afterward.
For people in India, the rupee versus dollar rate will still matter. If the rupee slips, imported bullion usually costs more at home.
