Inside Health, you can keep track of the medicines you’re meant to take and how many times you’ve actually taken them. In the Health app, you can always see a list of the medicines you’ve put in.

If you accidentally marked a medicine as taken or skipped, it’s not hard to remove it from your drug history. De-logging might also help if the medicine you took was completely flushed out of your body or thrown up right after taking it.

A Step-by-Step Guide on Removing Medications from Your iPhone Health App

To remove a drug from the list, go to the Health app, select Browse, then Medications, then Logged. Then, pick out a medication and deselect either the Skipped or Taken option.

HOW TO DO IT: On your iPhone, open the Health app and tap on the Browse tab in the bottom right corner.

Select Medicines on the next screen. Find the “Logged” area in the Medications screen and tap on the drug you want to remove from the list.

Can a medication that was de-logged be put back in?

Yes. If you remove a medication from the “Logged” part of the Health app, it will be sent back to the “Log” section. It will show you when each of your medications are supposed to be taken in the Log section. If you delete an item, it will come back here with a new time stamp so that you can log it properly the next time.

Can you remove a medicine from a list that has an old date?

Yes. In the drugs screen, you can delete drugs from days ago. To find the date you want, just swipe right to go back to earlier weeks or choose an earlier weekday from the top of the Medications screen. Once you reach the date you want, follow the same steps as above to remove a registered drug from your medication history.
