The Aadu franchise began in 2015 with the first film directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas. It followed Shaji Pappan, played by Jayasurya, and his gang of friends. They win a goat, the “Aadu,” as a prize after a tug-of-war contest. What starts as a simple story quickly turns into chaos with gangsters, police officers and politicians entering the scene, all adding to the fun. The second part, Aadu 2, came out in 2017 and is available to watch online.
