The film is being directed by Indra Kumar and is backed by T-Series with Devgn Films. The cast includes Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Mishra, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye and Ravi Kishan, among others.
A source quoted by Hindustan Times said, “Ajay and Akshay have been friends for as long as they have been massive stars. They both produce films too apart from acting, and understand how important it is to allow every film to have sufficient breathing space. Which is why the discussion went off smoothly and they understood that the audience would need a gap between two comedies.”

The film that sits on the other side of this release shuffle is Welcome To The Jungle. It is the third chapter in the Welcome franchise and is directed by Ahmed Khan. Recent reports say it is still set for a June 26, 2026 release.
