Akshay Kumar to remake 'Tip Tip Barsa Pani' with Katrina Kaif; Raveena Tandon reacts

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is joining Rohit Shetty’s cop universe with the upcoming film, Sooryavanshi. The actor will soon be shooting a song with the lead heroine, Katrina Kaif for the film. The movie is going to remake the song Tip Tip Barsa Pani which featured Akshay along with Raveena Tandon, back in the ’90s.

Akshay Kumar also had a cameo in Ranveer Singh’s Simmba. The actor has started shooting for the action film and has been spotted performing stunts in Thailand. Akshay is certainly excited about the job as he tweeted about it on Twitter recently.

The original song featured Raveenda Tandon along with Akshay Kumar. Here is the original video of ‘Tip Tip Barsa Pani’:

On the news of Tip Tip Barsa Pani remake, Raveena’s reaction might not be full of enthusiasm though she is not against it either. “Sounds Superb, I love new remixes,” Raveen said as reported by SpotBoyE.

Earlier, another hit song, Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast, was remade. The song original song also featured Raveena with Akshay. Back then, the actress had said, “It’s high time that someone did the remake. I am so happy that such a sweet and beautiful girl like Kiara is performing on the song. She is very young and innocent. Kiara is looking very pretty and innocent. At the same time, she is sensual in the song.”

The aura of Raveena Tandon draped in a yellow saree had set really high standards accompanied by her dance moves, which is exceptionally unable to match. But, Katrina seems to be the fittest choice as we have already seen Akshay and Katrina, in a yellow saree, dancing in the rain for the song Gale Lag Ja in the past.
