It was D-day for team Kalank today as the first teaser of the movie dropped today. The Abhishek Varman directorial hosts a stellar star cast which includes Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt. The lead cast came together for the launch and there was a lot said at the launch. Varun shared his experience of working with Alia, Sanjay confessed he wants to work with Madhuri again in the future and more. But our hearts sank when we witnessed Alia breaking down speaking about her experience of working on Kalank. The actress couldn’t hold back her tears as she spoke about her co-stars.
The actress began by saying, “I am genuinely going to try hard to be normal but it’s very difficult,” before she wiped off her tears. “I have a lot of love for my director and for my friend. He has put in a lot of effort and hard work into the making this film happen. Every time I see any visual or even right now watching this (teaser) is really surreal. I just have to say that he’s the most nicest, most amazing human being in the world. He is so nice that I just wish this film kills it, mostly, mainly and only for him because he’s a lovely, lovely person and he deserves all the success and love.”

Kalank teaser introduces us to all the characters in the movie. We see where each character comes from and we understand that there is some unresolved love between Alia and Varun’s character even Alia is shown marrying Aditya Roy Kapur.
