Ameesha Patel’s Candid Confession: Why She Passed on Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Chalte Chalte’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Tere Naam’
In a recent interview with ETimes, Ameesha Patel discussed the films in which she wishes she had participated. The actress disclosed that she had to decline several film offers, including Chalte Chalte, Tere Naam, and Munna Bhai MBBS, due to scheduling conflicts. She expressed regret, but explained that her prior commitments prevented her from participating in these initiatives.
“There were numerous films I was unable to produce. I declined due to scheduling conflicts, so I have no regrets. Chalte Chalte was one of the films proposed to me alongside Munna Bhai. The name Tere Naam. There were numerous factors why I was unable to do those films, including my prior commitments and the fact that there is only one Ameesha. “You cannot be everywhere at once,” she explained.

Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji starred in Chalte Chalte, while Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla starred in Tere Naam. Sanjay Dutt’s Munnabhai MBBS featured a significant character for Gracy Singh.
Changing its focus to Gadar 2, the film stars, among others, Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, and Manish Wadhwa. Since its release seven days ago, the film’s box office revenues have increased to approximately Rs 280.5 crores, under the direction of Anil Sharma.
