AMUSU Election 2018: Women’s College Students’ Union results declared, Afreen Fatima elected president

AMUSU Election 2018: Women's College Students' Union results declared

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University Students Union (AMUSU) election were held on Saturday. Results for Abdullah College, Women’s College Students’ Union (WCSU) has been declared.

Afreen Fatima who hails from Prayagaraj was elected for the president. Whereas, Naheed Asad won the vice president post and Maimoona Ansari was elected as new WCSU secretary.

There were 20 candidates in the fray for president, vice president, secretary and cabinets posts. Around 66 per cent voting were recorded in Women’s College Students’ Union election.

WCSU President post:

Afreen Fatima: 1726 votes

Sidra Ishrat : 628 votes

Simra Qayam: 623

Naheed Asad: 1311 votes

Rukhsana: 666

WCSU Secretary post:
