In a relief to old-age citizens, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu has increased the pension of the senior citizens from Rs 1000 to 2000.
Almost 5.5 million pensioners will benefit from the change. In 2014, the scheme was first introduced, back then a pension of mare Rs 200 was given. This increase follows his move earlier move where he announced to distribute Swift Dzire to state’s Brahmin youths.
Naidu introdouced another scheme called Raksha. The programme will provide free napkins to the children across Andhra Pradesh. 6 lakh girl children are supposed to benefit from the scheme across the state. They will get a minimum of 10 napkins for their needs.
Some more parties will be asked to join Mahagathbandhan: Pawar, Naidu
