Irrfan Khan starrer Angrezi Meiuum is all set to come up with all the fun and emotions packed in it. The film is out with its latest song Laaadki. The song features Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is playing the role of an officer in the film.
The latest song is inspired from old folk song Laadki and was first composed by Sachin-Jigar for MTV Coke Studio. It was sung by Rekha Bhardwaj and Sachin’s daughter, Tanishka.
The Angrezi Medium song is crooned by Rekha Bhardwaj. The video of the song also shows glimpses of Irrfan and Radhika Madan’s bond in the film and Kareena and Dimple Kapadia’s bond.
Kareena’s fan page shared the song saying, “Maari Laadki Thane, Khaama Ghani! A heartfelt melody dedicated to all the bitiyas!”
Directed by Homi Adajania, Angrezi Medium is a sequel to Hindi Medium, which told the story of two parents trying to get the best English medium education for their child. Talking about the film, Irrfan recently told Hindustan Times in an interview, “ I have approached acting very differently in Angrezi Medium. Now, you all should watch it, and tell me if it worked or not. I really like working with Dinoo (Dinesh Vijan). He has been rock solid and that’s (teaming up with him) a huge comfort zone for me.”
