The B-town celebs openly supported ‘Dangal’ girl Zaira Wasim, who became the latest victim of social media trolls, including veteran actor Anupam Kher. Kher stressed on the fact that she is his role model.
The 61-year-old ace actor took to twitter to praise Zaira’s strength as he wrote, “Dear @zairawasim! Ur apology letter is sad but full of courage. It exposes d cowardice of people who made u write it. But u r my #RoleModel.”

The very young Zaira Wasim who got into fame with recent release Dangal appealed to the people to understand that sometime certain situation evolve which cannot be controlled by anyone and added ‘whatever’ she did was not deliberate.
The teen actor was trolled after J&K CM calls her ‘role model.’ She then issued an apology letter though the reason for her regret is not clear. However, it is said that Zaira posted this note after being trolled for meeting Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
She met her couple of days ago and purportedly credited her for her film’s success. Here’s how the celebrities reacted on this entire controversy:
Those who shout AZADI from the roof tops don’t give an iota of AZADI to others .Poor Zaira Waseem had to apologies for her success Shame !!

Calling @zairawasim “unislamic” for acting in Dangal or meeting @MehboobaMufti is naked suppression. Ashamed dat she had 2 apologise.

Dear @zairawasim, as a fellow #Indian, #Kashmiri & #Artist, I truly believe that if #India, especially J&K, needs a role model -it’s YOU.
