Anupam Kher slams Chetan Bhagat on his tweet on Delhi Riots 2020, writer responds!

There are constant reactions on Twitter about this violence happening in Delhi, along with the public, celebrities are also tweeting about the violence in Delhi.

In view of the current situation in Delhi, famous writer Chetan Bhagat had made a tweet which didn’t go well with Bollywood actor Anupam Kher.

In his tweet, Chetan Bhagat wrote, ” India 1947: Hindu Muslim, Meanwhile world: the moon landing, computers, internet, artificial intelligence, cellphones, smartphones, apps. India 2020: Hindu Muslim Hindu Muslim.”

Anupam Kher, replying to Chetan Bhagat’s tweet, wrote, “With this tweet you are reducing the importance of not only yourself but millions of Indians. Both Hindus and Muslims !! Previous In 72 years, India has achieved unprecedented success in almost every field. This tweet is just a smart tweet, but far from the truth. ” People are reacting a lot to this tweet by Anupam Kher and are giving their feedback.

The writer responded back to the tweet, he wrote, “Aapki baat sahi hai sir but why are we still doing Hindu Muslim even now? It’s heartbreaking.”


For the uninitiated, at least 20 people have died after violence erupted between anti-Citizenship Amendment Act supporters and protesters in the northeast district of the national capital. The number of people injured due to violence has crossed 200.

Incidents of violence were reported from the areas of Maujpur, Kardam Puri, Gokulpuri, and Dayalpur. The tyre market at Kapur Petrol Pump in Gokulpuri was set on fire at around 9 pm on Saturday. The rioters also set fire to a petrol pump in the Bhajan Pura area.
